Error messages
Funnelback provides many error messages, which are surfaced in a number of different locations including log files, within the search results page or response and displayed on the search dashboard.

Query-time errors occur when a user runs a search. This includes errors returned by the query processor, issues with incorrect or missing search parameters, errors returned by a search lifecycle plugin and errors generated within the modern UI (including Freemarker templating).

Data source update error messages
Data source update errors occur during the running of an update of the data source. This includes errors generated during gathering, filtering and indexing.
