access_alternate

Background

If the user running a query fails the IP address restrictions defined by access_restriction then they will be silently redirected to the search package defined by this setting.

Setting the key

Set this configuration key in the results page (preferred) or search package configuration.

Use the configuration key editor to add or edit the access_alternate key, and set the value. This can be set to any valid String value.

Default value

(none)

Examples

If you have a private intranet search for some staff members, and wish to redirect non-staff queries to your internet site:

access_alternate=public
