Folder asset

A Folder asset can be used to group common assets within Matrix. For example, you can group all of your images under a folder called Images. This function lets you manage your assets and create a hierarchy to suit your needs.

Folders can not have any content added to them. However, they can still have designs, paint layouts, URLs, and metadata schemas applied.

Folders do not have short names: they can only have an asset name.
