Creating a search index for your DXP Content Management website

A web crawler will automatically discover the content on your site and periodically update the search index. The index is updated by fetching one or more start pages and following every link until all links are followed, or a time limit is reached. This option is easier to setup and maintain, but there is a delay in content changes being updated in the search, with the search index usually being updated once per day.
