Google Analytics view

A Google Analytics view asset represents a single view (profile) in your Google Analytics account. You can use this asset to display reports and summaries of the data of your site.

The Google Analytics features in Matrix use the older Google Universal Analytics properties. These properties will no longer collect or show data from July 1, 2023.

These assets are created once a connection to a Google Analytics application has been established through the Google Analytics connector and an available view is selected.

Once created, you can configure the settings of the Google Analytics view on its associated asset screens. These screens are the same as a standard page and are described in the asset screens documentation.

This chapter will describe the Details, Summary, Content, Audience, Goals, and Experiments screens, which are different for the Google Analytics connector asset.

Once a Google Analytics view asset has been created, it can be moved freely around your system.
