About content issue types in AI readiness topic statuses

The audit that happens as part of AI Readiness classifies issues using a set of content issue types.

Issue type severity

The definitions for each issue type are listed in this section in severity processing order.

Conflicting Facts (Contradiction)

Information on the page conflicts with or contradicts information elsewhere on the website, potentially leading to inconsistencies when answering questions.

For these issue types, Content Intelligence will suggest how to address the contradiction based on the facts it considers most likely to be correct.

Incomplete Information (Content Gap)

Information on the page omits key details, steps, or context needed for a complete and useful answer.

For these issue types, Content Intelligence will draw on its understanding of your website’s content to suggest what additional information to include.

Ambiguous Content (Answer Quality)

Information on the page is unclear or noncommittal, making it difficult to draw a single definitive conclusion or answer.

For these issue types, Content Intelligence will draw on its understanding of your website’s content to provide a rewrite suggestion.

Issue detection behavior

Once the audit flags an issue type, it stops checking for other issue types ranked lower in severity.

For example, if the audit finds a Contradiction issue type, it will not continue checking for Content Gap or Answer Quality issue types.
