Why is the Languages menu not appearing in Page Builder?

The Languages menu must first be activated for your DXP Organization before it will appear as a menu option in content pages.

The Enable the use of contexts for Component Service components feature flag in Squiz Content Management controls whether this menu appears.

The feature is turned off by default because not all businesses require the overhead of page translations on their sites.

Steps

If you find that the languages menu options are not appearing on your system:

  1. Open a support request through Squiz Support.

  2. Link to this documentation page in your request.

  3. Request that the feature flag is turned on for your Squiz Content Management instance.

  4. Once the feature flag is turned on for your DXP organization, continue with the procedures on Configure translation support for content pages
