Form Builder

Using Squiz Advanced Forms' drag-and-drop form builder, you can quickly create smart online forms to replace your existing paper and PDF forms.

Whether creating a basic or complex form, Squiz Advanced Forms' wide range of field types and advanced settings provide the flexibility to add as much or as little functionality as you need.

Create your form

  1. Log into Squiz Advanced Forms.

  2. Go to Forms and click New Form.

  3. Select Blank Form from a blank slate or Use Template to start with a pre-made template.

  4. Enter the form name.

  5. Click Next to start adding fields.

Customize fields

Each form field has its own unique settings and advanced options.

Read the Form field types documentation for more information.

Add fields

  1. Drag a field onto the form in the Form Fields panel (left-hand side).

  2. Enter the field name/question.

  3. (Optional) Select if answering this question is compulsory.

  4. (Optional) Click Show Advanced Options and enable any additional settings you require. Read Form field types for more information.

  5. Repeat the preceding steps for each new field.

  6. Click Save.

Move a field

If you drop a field in the wrong position, you can drag it to any position. As you move a field around the form canvas, a blue line indicates where you can drop the field.

Edit a field

  1. Hold your pointer over the field.

  2. Click Edit Field Details.

  3. Make your changes.

  4. Click Save & Close.

Delete a field

  1. Hold your pointer over the field.

  2. Click Delete Field.

  3. Confirm the action.

Form Settings

Once your fields have been added, you can edit your form Form settings to set up emails and workflows and configure other optional form functionality.

Form design

Read the form design Form design if you need to adapt the design of your form, add branding, create multi-page forms, or set conditional logic for your fields.

To finish building this form later, click Save. You can find your recent forms on the dashboard. Click Edit to continue from where you left off.
