Add personalization to a content block
You can apply personalization to a content block through the
option.The order in which the content variations appear determines the priority if more than one segment is in effect for a user.
Before you start
Events and segments should already be set up through the Customer Data Platform service.
Steps
To apply a personalization segment to a component or text block:

Ensure the segment to which you want to make the content available is selected in the main interface.

Click the chosen content block’s
icon in the Page layout. -
Select the "Personalize for <selected_segment>" menu option.
A dialog box will present with the following options:
- Duplicate current content

Use this option if you want to use the same content across segments.
- Add Component

Use this option if you want to use another component for the chosen segment.
- Add text

Use this option if you want to add a text field with the existing component.
- Hide (leave blank)

Use this option if you want to hide this component for the chosen segment.
Select the option that best suits your needs and click Continue

Make any required changes.

After you have added the content block to a segment, click the green Save button to save your changes.
