Asset version history

The asset version history has changed between standard and Content Pages.

Standard Pages version histories present information about:

  • Standard fields

    • id

    • Type

    • Version

    • Name

    • Short Name

    • Status

    • Created (date)

    • Updated (date)

    • Published (date)

    • Status Changed (date)

  • Attributes

    • Name

    • Short Name

  • Content

    • Component #

  • Metadata.

    • Description

Content Pages version histories present information about:

  • Standard fields

    • id

    • Type

    • Version

    • Name

    • Short Name

    • Status

    • Created (date)

    • Updated (date)

    • Published (date)

    • Status Changed (date)

  • Attributes

    • Name

    • Short Name

    • Dxp Page Content Id

  • Metadata.

    • Description

The two version histories are largely equivalent.

Standard Pages version histories do not include the Dxp Page Content Id attribute that is present for Content Pages.

Content Pages version histories do not include a Content section. That is, a history of content changes is not presented in a Content Pages version history.

Instead, Content Pages content change histories are pushed into the DXP Logs service by the content-api service.

To see only content changes in the Logs service, search for content-api in the search field. A search can also be further narrowed by time period.
