3.8.6.0 Release (November 2023)

The following features, improvements, and bug fixes were released in the Workplace 3.8.6.0 release.

New features

The following features were introduced in this version of Workplace.

File uploader now handles multiple files

The file uploader has been updated to accept multiple files, and these files can be added and removed from the uploader dialog box. The size limit is unchanged at 20 MB.

Bug fixes

News articles are not showing to some staff (MATRIX-5713)

The group filters on the home page news listing effectively only filtered for the first group of which the user was a member. Some news items were not showing for users who should be able to see them. The filter queries were updated to reflect all user membership groups properly. All news items that the user should be able to see on the home page now appear as expected.
