Register a domain for User Journey Mapping

The User Journey Mapping Service lets you monitor user paths through web-sites that are served by Squiz DXP systems.

Before that can happen, you need to enrol your domain into the service. Domain enrolment is managed through a request through My Squiz.

Steps

To request a domain be enrolled in monitoring:

  1. Copy the URL for the site you wish to add to monitoring.

  2. Visit My Squiz.

  3. Click Create a ticket.

  4. Click Support and service from the options available.

  5. Click Request a new piece of work.

  6. Add the request’s specifics to the Summary section. Something to the effect of

    Register the <top-level-domain-name-here> for User Journey Mapping.

  7. Select Matrix from the Product pop-up menu.

  8. Provide the following information in the Description section:

    • The name of the Content Management instance that hosts your domain.

    • The top-level domain you wish to monitor for User Journey Mapping.

      That is, the top-level domain copied in the first step of this procedure

  9. Click Send.

What happens next?

Your domain is enrolled into User Journey Mapping by the Squiz Support team.

After everything is set up for you, the Home  Optimization  User journey mapping tile appears for your Organization.
