Rename a data source

This updates the name displayed for a data source. It does not change the data source ID (as used for the collection parameter in searches). The data source ID cannot be changed.

The name that is displayed for a data source is defined in the data source configuration and can easily be changed.

Update the data source name

To update the data source name:

  1. Open the data source management screen, then select edit data source configuration from the settings panel.

  2. Edit (or create) the service_name option and enter the desired name.

  3. Save the change. The new data source name will be displayed as soon as the save is complete.
