Specifies if gathering is enabled or not.

Can be set in: collection.cfg

Description

Allows disabling gathering during an update.

Default Value

The default value is set when the collection is created, for example web data sources will have:

gather=crawl

Examples

To disable gathering:

gather=false

The update might fail if gathering is disabled.
