Update stopped at user request


This error can occur when Funnelback detects that a stop update has been requested by a user.

Error message

Displayed in the collection update logs.

Error: Update stopped at user request (/opt/funnelback/data/<COLLECTION>/stop_update.txt)


A stop signal was sent to Funnelback (e.g. by an administrator clicking on the stop update button in the administration interface).


Start a new update of the collection. If this update fails again with the same message then you may need to clear the collection’s locks by clicking on the clear locks link on the update tab of the administration interface.
