Gatherer out of memory: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

This error occurs when the gatherer runs out of memory.

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Cause

The gatherer ran out of memory.

Resolution

Increase the allocated memory by setting/increasing the following collection.cfg setting (Default is 640MB)
- Funnelback 15.10+: gather.max_heap_size=640
- Pre Funnelback 15.10: max_heap_size=640
